Re: New interview with Craig Rowland
Yet another example of how the Value Stock Geek consistently sends an email with an email date about 2 weeks prior to it actually being sent. I was in the email box yesterday and it had nothing left in it about 24 hours ago. The email was not there. Today it is with a 2/21/24 date. My educated gues...

Re: Vinny VS email backdaters
A lot of email is sorted by newest first, Vin. If what you say is true then those older date emailers are doing the exact wrong thing. Do email programs give you the choice of either newest or oldest first? I just checked with my ancient Eudora email which I use for person. It always has oldest on ...

Re: Vinny VS email backdaters
When I asked someone his opinion of why they did this ... he hypothesized they did it so that their emails would be the top ones (first ones) in your In Box. Huh. At least for me it means there's approximately zero chance I would ever know it had existed. Explain yourself further? Currently my inbo...

Re: New interview with Craig Rowland
… However, is it not in this forum that Craig stated that he was no longer a Permanent Portfolio participant? I wonder if you’re thinking of PointedStick, a well-respected, intelligent and long-time member. He went all stocks. I don’t recall Craigr ever changing course. No. Definitely thinking of C...

Ukrainians use the word "coffee"? In the Latin alphabet even?
Are your relatives members of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the Ukranian Orthodox Church, or something else?

Re: What’s The Best Metals To Buy Into ATM?
Again, what causes you to draw that conclusion? It is not apparent to me. The biggest red flag is a first-time poster failing to introduce himself and say something like "I've been lurking here a long time, here's why I'm interested in this forum, here's some background about me, I've been wonderin...

Re: What’s The Best Metals To Buy Into ATM?
... Does anyone have any advice? ... Yes. ~~~ Your question requires a lot more information to answer properly. What is the state of your current portfolio (do you already own any metals?) What are your investing goals (short term profit/turnaround, long term or pass metals to my kids when I die)? ...

Re: Daily "Check In" Thread For Us
I've heard of Boxing Day, but only as a British/Canadian thing. We don't do it here. It's also the second day of Christmas, and the feast day of St Stephen. As the first Christian martyr, with no idea from Scripture when he was killed, he was assigned December 26, the day after Christmas Day, by the...

I think you guys have it mixed up which side in this "culture war" is obsessed with sex and gender and orientation etc and which is the one responding to that. Vinny is absolutely right that adultery has been far too normalized. Even when a divorce is for cause like adultery it only affects the div...

ocho, you have some valid points. But on this: And I don't like slow-moving parties outside of the doctor-patient relationship getting involved in litigation and court cases and appeals. Good God, medical decisions are made in real time! Look at the clustercuss of the Texas Cox case The state Suprem...
