Facebook post from Dr. Robert Gagnon regarding the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd: Everyone has a constitutional right to gather to protest (just as everyone has a constitutional right to gather for worship), even in a pandemic. But these protests have become counterproductive occasions for...

Re: Another angle on the recent events in America and the world

I think this might be somewhat related to this topic. How close or far do you live from any of the unrest of the last several days? Closest to me is Boston - 1.75 hours / 90 miles away. Where I live is quite rural, economically diverse neighborhood, houses with wide ranging values ($100,000 to $500...

Re: Another angle on the recent events in America and the world

Am I the only one here that thinks part of the reason the rioting has gotten so out of hand is bc of the Covid lockdown? I agree with Scott Adams that this has set the progress of Black back 10 years. But doesn't take much to make people snap under the conditions we've been under. I’m with you Pug....

I wonder how many times you can use a disposable coffee cup before you get "chemicals" leached into your drink though...

Re: Coronavirus and bloodtype

Anyone have any further input into this? Apparently type A blood significantly more prone to complications than say the AB or type O? Doodle, no disrespect intended, but my first reaction when I read the post title was, I have red blood, I've never identified with the bluebloods. You may take that ...

Re: Charitable Giving

Most of our charitable monetary contributions go to our church. I am on the Board of Trustees. I know where and how the contributions/financial gifts are utilized and for practical purposes, none is wasted and all goes to worthy needs. We also give to our local volunteer fire department and a couple...
